Live. Eat. Surf was the ethos of our founder, Josh, who was in the restaurant business from an early age. His love for surfing took him to the west coast where he experienced the fresh flavors at restaurants and taco shacks frequented by the surf community. Fast forward to 1993 when he opened the first K*38 Baja Grill on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.
Josh’s passion and dedication laid the foundation for a group of restaurants loved by locals and visitors alike. We celebrate his legacy through the restaurants, gathering people to kick back and relax around gorgeous food. Come see what the buzz is about at any of our six locations.
